Who is Vivian Zabawa-Lodholz?

My artwork comes from my desire to share the joy that I feel from music, friends and family, media, and story. Music and art have always been a part of my life, brought upon by those around me. Fantasy as a subject particularly inspires me as I wish to relay imagery that can not otherwise be experienced by the viewer. Animation as a medium, both 2D and 3D digital, offers more creative freedom with storytelling, design, color, effects, and other aspects that I would not be able to achieve with most traditional mediums, allowing me to express imagery through movement and better generate the emotions I wish to share. My stylistic approach leans towards a mix of cartoon and realism, which is able to add to my subject of fantasy while maintaining a realistic connection. A connection between art and viewer is what I hope to achieve the most within my work.
